Orange Drop Capacitors are made Cornell Dubilier and are use by many well known brands and boutique builders.

The most commonly used tone capacitors in guitars are:
- 0.001μF for treble bleed mods (combines with a resistor).
- 0.022μF for humbuckers
- 0.047μF for single coils
Capacitors with a 0.033μF capacity are less common and are used with single coils as well as humbuckers.
